Jason M. Burrows
Jason Burrows helps clients understand and navigate the complexities of the legal system. Legal issues can be daunting or frustrating (oftentimes both) whether the client is encountering a legal matter for the first time or one of several. Mr. Burrows looks at the “big picture” and not just the legal issues presented by the client’s particular matter or lawsuit. When appropriate, he advises clients with any eye toward larger economic and strategic issues including those pertaining to family dynamics for business succession and estate planning. By looking at the whole picture, Mr. Burrows provides clients with steps toward achieving the best possible result in light of the client’s specific goals. He also cuts through the legalese and explains issues in plain English to help clients understand laws, procedures and concepts that at times seem to defy logic and common sense.
Mr. Burrows practices primarily in the areas of real estate, business, commercial and trust/will disputes. He represents buyers and sellers of real estate, business owners, homeowners, contractors, individuals and businesses in various disputes ranging from the hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions of dollars. Mr. Burrows seeks to resolve matters on behalf of clients through pre-litigation dispute resolution (negotiations and/or mediation) but will take the client’s matter through arbitration or trial if early resolution is not possible.
Out of the office and courtroom, Mr. Burrows enjoys cycling, running and spending time with family.
Mr. Burrows received his B.S. degree in Business Administration (Finance) from California State University, Northridge, and his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law, Los Angeles. Mr. Burrows is admitted to practice law in California, Nevada and the United States District Courts for the Central District of California and District of Nevada.
